One of the highlights of this project was having the opportunity to be on set again, this time in Rome, Italy. As one of the on-set Virtual Art Department artists, we were the final eyes for polish, quality control, and director notes on the scenes before handing them to the stage team to put up on the LED walls. I'm proud to say that working closely on the project allowed me to be flexible and deliver high quality work in short amounts of time.

The bulk of my work focused on the Circus Maxima - the large arena where the horse races took place. I worked on baking and texturing the stands, and optimizing the VFX assets for realtime. 

I also led some deep dive research into new Unreal Engine 5 features to avoid any pitfalls, but also to see how they would fit into our pipeline. I wrote extensive documentation of my findings that supported issues and challenges on other shows.
