Here was an incredible opportunity for me to exercise my lighting skills - what I consider to be the biggest challenge for me. The different scenes had many factors to consider when setting up outdoor lighting, including weather, time of day, season, and in some cases accurate weather to significant moments in history.
I also worked closely with Brent Alexander who led the development on the chaos vehicle system - which we set up for the Virtual Production stage team to drive the cars in the background. We set up the logic that gave the cars realistic physics, while also letting edits happen real time - notifiers and tags were essential to making this system work.
Nearly everything that is seen out the living room window is a Virtual Production set.
